TASC TAIWAN ASIA STRATEGY CONSULTING

The company (registered in the ROC on Taiwan under the number 16170114) was founded by Michael Boyden in 1997 in Taiwan for a number of activities in the management consulting and information fields.

Its scope can be summarised as :-

• The corporate platform for Economist Conferences (ECF) and Economist Corporate Network (ECN) activities in Taiwan. These are chiefly the Taiwan Business Leaders' Forum (TBLF), a senior executive peer group in the ECN Asia-Pacific regional network; and roundtable and other conference events under the ECF banner, such as the Sixth Taiwan Roundtable "Government meets Industry" held 19-20 November 2001.
  
  
• Market analysis, market intelligence, costs/benefits surveys, partner search, market entry strategies and competition assessment for foreign companies and government organisations with an interest in Taiwan markets. Projects have been undertaken in the fields of biotechnology products, concrete products, educational services, agri-business, construction materials and beverage packaging.
  
  
• Assisting potential foreign investors in their initial feasibility surveys, partner search and other foundation studies and then establishing their presence and operations in Taiwan.
  
  
• Representing in Taiwan the Tokyo-based management training and development company I Will Not Complain, which works with multinationals and large local firms also in Japan, the PRC (Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong SAR), Singapore and west coast USA.
